The weirdest dreams.....

How many of you seem to have really weird and bizzare dreams? I know I do and it seems like more often than not. You know the dreams you wake and it is fuzzy. Or the ones that are so vivid you are like did that really happen? Last night I had a fuzzy one but all day little by little the dream has been coming back to me. I can not go into the long bizzare dream but as it replays it come out and I am like...WEIRDO! lol I love to have the type of dream that a loved one comes to you who has not been around for a while and their voice and face are so vivid. I have those dreams not as often but when I do of my Papa Steve I wake up and wish the dream would never end. He is Nana T's husband that passed away in 1981 from a long arguous battle with lung/brain cancer. I was 10 at the time and in 3rd grade. I recently saw at BABW and old friend of the family and she brough back so many emotions and good times from my childhood. She is and always has been the type that is very in tune with the spirit world. Some of you know my view on the subject and I am not all "into" that so much as to spirits per say amoung us. I have a belief that they are watching down on us and hopefuly give a helping hand when needed. She feels and always felt for many years that my Papa Steven, being so young at his passing and not ready to leave is around me more that I think. SO as that conversation took place the hairs on the back of my neck stood at attention. Weird feeling. SO I leave you with this.....I am on the fence but more over to the Christain side of it not so the spirit lingering side...what is your opinion on the subject in general not so as to Papa Steve but in general???Just another one to get feed back...I loved all the stories from the last post Blizzard of '78..Keep em' coming.....

I have some bizarre dreams too! Sometimes I can't remember them all. But you are lucky because it measn that you have gone into a nice deep sleep to be able to dream like that.

I don't know what to think about spirits.. I want to believe that our loved ones are among us and guiding us but I am afraid of those psychics that predict or tell you about your life. I've never been to one, but people I know have said that they are very accurate. Bill is totally against it. I'm not sure why it is against our faith either.. I mean, conjuring up the dead is a bad thing.. I can understand that. Buy why are phsyics "evil"? We'll have to ask our friend, Drew.!!!

i am a member of the vivid dream club...in fact i tossed and turned all night with vivid dreams.....oh and it doesn't mean you sleep well...its the opposite! chinese medicine calls it Heat in the Heart.....look at the tip of your tongue, if the tip is red, you have heart fire...other symptoms would be talking a lot (basically all this means that you're not letting your spirit rest...its restless). if you ever get a cankar sore on the tip of your tongue same thing..its called a heart fire sore.

I never got a canker on my tongue, and my tongue isn't bright red, (a lovely shade of pink is more like it) but I do talk a lot..hmmmm.. I thought you dreamed a lot when you were sleeping. I haven't been sleeping very well and have had no dreams. And what about those commericials with Abe Lincoln and the woodchuck?

you have to have REM sleep (dreaming) in order to complete the cycle, but if you dream all night and are having vivid restless dreams you are not completing the rem cycle...you really are only suppose to dream for like 20 minutes a night....and the abe lincoln commercials (lololol) are trying to sell you drugs for sleeping!

i had a crazy dream last night that auntie k was swimming in a river where there was bears (the bears had on swim caps) the whole family was in a bus behind her trying to save her from the bears and we kept running over the bears heads and they would look up at us and say "hey!" or "ouch!" i think auntie made it out alive because then i remember in my dream that we were all at the sacred heart carnival and were looking for a parking space on Canterbury St...... WEIRD!!!!!!!

Well, I don't want to bore you guys by repeating myself but...the Bible is pretty strong in it's warnings about dabbling in the spirit world or the occult.
---------------------------------------
For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11:13-14 (KJV)
--------------------------------------
Do not turn to mediums or spiritists; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.
Leviticus 19:31 (NAV)
--------------------------------------
Do we become ghosts when we die? Or do we become Angels?

Neither is true... according to the Bible.

Angels were created separate from man, and are a different order than man. Genesis chapter 2:1 (King James Version) speaks of the 'hosts" of heaven being created. Also read Revelation 7:9-14 to see that angels and men are 2 completely different beings.

2 Corinthians 11:14 (KJV)
"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."

So...I just don't mess with it. I think dreams are concerns...random thoughts...they could be about someone you loved, or worried about. Something you read in a book, or the newspaper...or a movie. Then there's sex dreams...and we won't go into that! I had a dream on Thursday night that F-14's streaked across the sky right over my house at a low altitude. They were tracking an airliner and eventually shot it out of the sky. As the debris rained down a short way away...all I could think of is: Where's my camera? It was a really vivid dream.
I remember in the days after Sept. 11th, me and Petemoss (Mel's hubby) were walking around near where we worked in Manhattan. We heard the planes and looked up and sure enough there were jet fighters patroling the skies. It was kind of freaky and I think it will always be with me. My dream kind of reminded me of that.

Steph, that is so crazy that I had to laugh.. imagining these big headed people looking at you.

My mother always used to have this nightmare about wolf people.. She said it was so so scary.. No like the wolfman, but human bodies with heads of wolves.. yikes.

Want to hear my recurring dream? It's not very exciting but I have it often... and had it just a few days ago on the cruise. In my dream, I get hired to work at Sears Childrens Department. (In real life, I worked at Sears Childrens Department in high school but the Sears in the dream always varies and is typically not the same one as the one I worked in)... so anyway, I get hired to work at Sears - and now that I think about it, I have had the same dream relating to a Dunkin' Donuts shop (which, yes, I also used to work at)... but the thing is - I'M ALWAYS LATE and in a huge panic about it.... Sometimes I forget to go or I'm really lost and can't find my way and am upset that no one will help me... sometimes I wonder if I am week late, will they still hire me... it's always a big panic with me waking up stressed...

As for the other stuff, I am not into it... my mother thinks it's pure evil. I had my cards read a few weeks ago and the guy was very accurate, I sum it up to perception... but he did come up with some pretty funky stuff.... I think the only value it has is pure entertainment (if that).

I think the being late thing is being scared that you will not be on time for things...Sounds like it...
I think the big head thing to me is that I am overwhelmed that people are always "looking" and may see into my house? I love to keep the windows clear for the brightness but hate if people can see in...I don;t know I am not a dream expert but it sounds good...lol Stephie
