not a fashion show...lol wearing the dark green windbreaker that I could pull out of the closet in the dark this morn and old eye glasses and a hat to cover the messed up hair....Not a fashion show..lol
This morning at 630am on the dot in the pouring rain 6 brave Pink Angels headed out for our ussual Sunday Morning 15 mile walk. We always seem to have lots and lots of people but today 6 brave NON WOOSSIES! lol Peter a guy who was redignosed last month walked even though on Thursday he had some aggresive experimental chemo. U GO PETER! We ended at 12:30 with a small 15 min snack break of my Homemade Raw Vegan Treats. I am happy to report that Peter knows and goes to Sol Bean for his shots of Wheatgrass and does an 85% raw diet to go hand in hand with his other treatment and says he really thinks it makes a hugh differnce in his recovery and I do not doub that. I am goin to help out Friday night for his Relay For Life fight...he will be walking non stop from 3pm Friday to 3pm Saturday...as long as in his name or sponsrship walking takes place in that 24 hour period. So when he gets tired others are there to help with his walk. His family is a hugh Irish clan and there are many there to support his 24 hour walk but he is determined to do 12 of it on his own. A former Marine of the Gulf War that has a heart of gold and passion the size of the world. He also has a goal to do EVERY 3 Day around the country and has lots of financial support from companies he did work for when he owned his own landscaping design buisness. GO PETER! So as I hear the rain falling so fast and hard laying in my bed not for one second did I think I am not walking today. WHY! b/c there are people who can;t walk and wish they could and I CAN! SO I WILL~~~~~~

easier said than done......Oh you should be so proud! or wow you look awesome...Well I have to learn to live with my NEW self. I not others need to see me as I am now seen. It is not easy. I have a loss for words when I am trying to explain the conflict in my own mind that I have some days...Not all days just some. Am I wrong in thinking I would NEVER want to be that way again. NEVER...I had a friend on the same journey say she would reather die than be obese again. Well we all know I want to be around for a long time. I never wanted to be the person my mother way not taking good care of herself and passing at the age of 60 b/c of weight and health related issues. Do I want to die? No I want to fight with all my God given might to stay on track...It is not a "CAKE" walk.....thats for sure. It does nto come easy and sometimes I find myself saying to people who say wow you look good I say "Yeah I'm tryin'" Yeah well I was pointed out by myself the other day in deep tought of this journey I AM DOING! not just trying. DAMIT give yourself some well deserved credit. It is like the prevebual right side angel and the left side dressed in red devil suit on your shoulders telling you two differnt things. I try....I DO! I try AND DO! I WILL no matter what continue TO DO! DO DO DO MORE AND MORE AND MORE>>>I WILL NOT STOP>...I ma unstopable...even I will not let me stop....SO THERE!

For one split second...
I woke at 457am without the alarm as always and made my way to the bathroom and sat and said yeah no training walk this morn. Washed hands and walked back towards the bed. Did not sit or lay back down...another spilt second..pivot towards the closest to get clothes. Yeah second of that gone and forgotten. Could I go on with my very busy day knowing that I did not do my 15 miles that are expected of me...NO I would feel guilty and wrong. Even the day I do the NSMC 6 mile cancer walk to honor dads or I should say men I will do an additional 6-9 miles to compensate for my small distance. I HAVE TO! Today was the FIRST time since maybe April of '08 that I had a second of negative feelin to go back to bed. BUT THE THING IS I DID NOT FALL or GIVE IN! YAY ME! pat on back. I look at it this way, am I healthy enough and do I have legs that work? YES I DO! well get out there and just do it! I would not of met Peter and awesome positve husband, dad, and breast cancer survior this morn. Yes Peter, men are not immune to BC like some may think. He and I chatted and he had a great pink shirt on that said "CANCER...You messed with the wrong BROAD(crossed out) fighting kick ass kind of guy! Up yours, I WON!" it was a hoot. One fiesty gal had a t on with two hugh circles of hot pink right where the boobskies go and it said hey what are you lookin at? Thats right I walk for the fight!
One had the same hot pink dots...very large take up your entire boob area dots that said these boobs are made for walking....lol I love the enthusiasm. I love the hope and I hear of the suffering and the loss that goes with it. I am proud to wear the pins of two women who walked on the Pink Angels before me that have passed and they were even younger than I am...Sad but that is why we walk...Peter said Chrissy may not have lived a lifetime, b/c the message for SGC is Everyone Deserves A Lifetime, but the life she lived made a make on many hearts...her time was full of life! Touching these training walks...I feel like it doen't just train our bodies but also our spritis.....I see things differnly. I cherish and thanks God for every breathing second I am givien to make my mark, make a differnce. TO BE! not just ot be TO BE! and to DO! selfeshness is not an option! DO for others! xoxoxo love yourself and grow by spreading that love...xoxoxo

I'm in love!

with Know Fear AND this car! I just hope that one day MY BIG DADDY gets this for me. SOOOONNNNN! Love this hybrid. I love the Prius but the sleek look of this one has my heart. I am as in love with this as I am the 09/10 Stang. A stang would not be needed but I can still love it. I think a V8 gas waster is not good but I can still have the love for it from a far lol .....I love the insight. Michaels cousin who got us an awesome deal on the Nissian quad cab now works for the same owner but at HONDA and I am like cousin John John needs a call. lol Since Stephen will be getting his Mass LI around the first of September I think Mama needs a new car. My '02 Sonata should be his. Of course gas and insurance would be earned with his pay cks. He does make good mulah. I do think young first time drivers should not drive new cars since they are just getting used to driving. I see all the time in this town and the other two of the tri-towns (Masco parking lot student side has better cars than the teachers side) Not needed. Some of these teens are driving cars that are an easy 45 grand handed to them. NOT!(to each their owwn but I am not all for that crap) I felt that I so earned my car and paid Nana T every week for that cute lil blue fishbowl Plymth. Horizon and kept it well since it was not just handed to me, nothing ever was, I think I appreciate things ten fold b/c of this, still to this day and I so instill that to these boys and just like Raf boys they so keep their stuff in the best of care/shape. Stephen said he would take anything he has saved for but also my thinking is why buy someone elses headaches. Atleast for the past 7 years we have taken good care of the Sonata, have owned it out right for the past 5 years, M does not like car pymnts and feels when u buy a car why pay 3/4 more than what u paid in financ. charge. Buy it when u have as much cash possible, and know the history. It has a ten year warnty. and has treated us well thus so far...knock on wood, thank God ect. yeah when it came to get new tires and brakes I was pissed but I guess all cars need those things. I joked and said when u need stuff like that u just get a new car..lol as if...KF does not look at it like that. I guess reg. maintnce. is nessry.lol lol ......I really would love S to have the hoppty lol VOLVO wagon,.,,,,steel cage and very heavy duty. A really good car. I joke to KF and say his golf and hockey bag will fit so well in the Volvo wagon .....an 01 maybe. But back to the who knows how it was taken cared of. I so do not like used cars even a 2 year old car. I like to know I have it from the get go. Some would disagree with that but hey we all have our opinions. So back to the car that makes my heart skip a beat. ..........gotta have it....moonroof too please....lol someday sooner or later...lets hope sooner....Hey I'm not asking for a 40,000 car here. Atleast I a am down to earth gal. AND out to save gas and the enviornment! hell I'll take the '10 Prius if not this one.....either or!

Your Height Says You're Optimistic |
You are cheerful, expressive, and creative. You have the heart of an artist, and the whole world is your art project. You are the type of person who says "yes" a lot. You are optimistic and giving. You also love a challenge. You enjoy accomplishing the impossible. You are about as tall as the average Japanese man or the average Dutch woman. |

ah yeah thats the truth!
You Are a Morning Person |
You're optimistic, alert, and full of energy to start the day. While you would love to party all night, you rather be up at the crack of dawn. You don't procrastinate or spend time worry about what to do next. You take life by the reigns, and you like to have an early start. |

Ah yeah,,,thats the truth...
You Would Be a Good Spouse 100% of the Time |
You have what it takes to be an amazing wife or husband. You are caring, patient, giving, and romantic. You are willing to work for a marriage. More than anything, you're not about to let your ego ruin a relationship. You are humble and unselfish. And that's the key to being a good spouse. |

Mothers Day 5 years ago!
I am sooo proud and blessed to be a "mom" of two awesome boys. They are both sooo differnt but the same in their own way. I could go on and on about them but I will speare you. lol Those of you who know them already know what I might say. I pride myslef on having a really great relationship with them and love them more than they will ever know. I would lay down my life for them and did not know this feeling until beconing a parent. Those of you who are parents are nodding in agreement as you read..I just know it! Well 5 years ago Mothers Day was bitter/sweet. "Paula" my mother decided to make a statement and pass away hours before Mothers Day. You are reading this saying WHAT! Yes I swear up and down it was her statement being made to have her 5th stroke right before the day we honor mothers.I also could not have gottrn through that time without my "other mother" Michaels mother, she made me feel inside loved and cared for since day one. I am writing this b/c You never know when it is going to be the last time you see or talk to someone sooooo always leave them on good terms and with a hug or something b/c u will also NEVER forget the last words you say to a person. Those of you who have moms or mother figures out there hug them a lil tighter this Mothers Day.....and always be aware everyday is a GIFT not a privlegde...
I find it most hard that NanaT can;t come out of the place she is now confined to b/c of her psyical and mental state. I looked forward to the times we would take her to resturants and places out of the home to celebrate things or just go for a Saturday trip to Winthrop. Just for her to see the places she would go back in the day. She loves to see us visit so we try really hard to see her every week. I love that lady to pieces b/c she had such a hugh hand in raising me and did a stellar job too. Love to all of you out there and to the women in your lives that MAKE A DIFFERNCE!

GO MIKE!

Hope Mike gets the vote for the 3rd in the finals. I am sure he will. His dad maade a plea with America being a parent I so share his view of it is about the son not him at this point. I think most paretns would do ANYTHING for their kids and his words proved that last night. As hard as the dad worked his Kudos go to the son and the derive to have Mike be in the finals. I know as a parent no matter how much it would be about me I would want my children to be the ones int he spotlight too. Lookin forward to next week.

off to my one year vist, shy of one day...but whos counting!

Day 364...wow who would of thunk...lol it will be one year tomorrow when I made a vow
to walk a different path to better health. It is a commitment I make everyday not just during weight reduction. I will live my "lifetime" of wellness for a lifetime. My new journey is like a rebirth. I am living life and eating to nourish my body, I do not eat to fill anything but the hunger of my psychical. I am no longer a practicing food addict. It is some what like a drunk who can not get through life without a drink or many drinks. They can love without booze but food we need food to live. It is what and how you consume that food that makes you no longer dependent like a junkie. I am no longer that food junkie and I scream it to the world...I am not a closet eater nor will I eat for comfort of masking or hiding feelings. I've come a lonnnggg way baby! I eat to live not live to eat.
I am sure at my visit today I will get praises from all departments but it is so not about the validation of others it is from my own heart and appreciation of how I live that makes me go on and strive to always be a healthy me! 4-29-08 is a new "anniversary" date in my book and in my heart. I look forward to report 15 years from now, 20 even 25 that very anniversary with pride and sustained health and journey of success. I WILL DO THIS< I did do this and will continue. If I can do it any person with the right mind set and WANT/DESIRE can. I tried in '01 and lost 80lbs but did not have the proper tools for success or the positive mind set for long term goal. NOW I DO! I can't thanks the folks at NSMC cardiovascular heart and wellness enough for those tools, support and love for their jobs. It is more than a job to them it is to help change and make healthy the lives of their patience. I LOVE U NSMC.....Malinda, Maureen, Jo-Ann esply., Dr. whats your name lol so hard to spell and pronounce "K" lol lol Dr. B.. and BC/BS for approving this costly but well worth it for my health and longevity program. From the bottom of my now extreamly healthy heart I am thankful!

4-26-92 the day we said "I DO"

17 years since that day and I still feel like a young bride. In love with my sweetie. A lot has happen in 17 years but it feels like yesterday and it also feels like a blink of an eye for those years gone by. Our two sons have grown so quickly and havin had them young I feel like i grew up with them in a scence. I weigh so much less today than I did 17 years ago, I find that mind blowing. Most gals say if I could only fit into my wedding dress again...well no thanks here..lol I would get a new one, not that I did't like my dress from the 90's but shape wise and size wise it would so be differnt. We can still look in eachothers eyes and melt eachothers hearts and for that we are blessed. Luv u sweetie..xooxoxoxo Love your Jelly Bean

I need a hit...lol
Two days without Wheatgrass...I NEED A HIT! DO I sound like an addict. Well I AM...And proud of it. Yes my dear 22 year old owner/pal with the natural currly hair that girls would die to have said he gave his supplier a piece of his mind this morn. LOL Last time he was out I got a free shot the next day . We will se eif my back and forth 2x's renders a free hit! lol. He too is feeling the need b/c he said he takes 3 a day. He is an earthy crunchy guy who goes to Salem State p/t AND owns Souls Bean. Kudos to you Chris. And Lucy his side kick is a doll. She agrees with my holding of the nose to gulp it. I gave her the idea and we did a hit together. For now I wait, he said by 3 today it should be in. Call first. I said I would be there when I get Ry at Masco at 3 b/c he is staying after for some Spanish help. HOLA! His dealer better come through...LOL LOL Dawns right if I grew it myself and had my own extractor I would not be in withdrawals. This sooo sounds funny does it not...so for now I just eat my Soy pita with spianch and red pepper.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah I got my hit..lol two shots for the price of one....he takes care of me..lol I was trying to get this 20 something kid in front of me to do a shot but he was a woosie lol

2 signs my car should sport

It is illegal to have a student driver sign on your vehicle if you are not an official driving school. Learned that info at the 2 hour class for parents. Though it would be cool to have that on when a new learning teen is int he car. I must say though he drives really really well. We had to work on taking turns onto streets at a slower speed b/c the first few times it felt like we were gonna two wheel it. We were told by Mario the driving school owner with the best Italian accent lol that when he took him for his first lesson he was really a confident driver. He does not get nervous well maybe when I over react lol no not me....I have been really so much better. He has his second road lesson on Monday at night. I had him drive at night in the rain mind you. He was fine but I wasn't lol ....So goes the riding places with me in the passenger seat.....thats just weird still....

40 benefits of the best stuff out there....I swear by it.

I took one shot of the stuff and was like I am hooked. Though I hold my nose I will not lie. The stuff makes the skin radient and it makes u feel wonderful.
WHAT'S SO GREAT ABOUT WHEATGRASS JUICE?
1.
Wheatgrass juice is 70% chlorophyll.
2.
Chlorophyll is the first product of light and contains more light energy than any other element.
3.
Wheatgrass juice is a crude chlorophyll and can be taken orally and as a colon implant without toxic side effects.
4.
Chlorophyll is the basis of all plant life.
5.
Wheatgrass is high in oxygen like all green plants that contain chlorophyll. The brain and all body tissues function at an optimal level in a highly oxygenated environment.
6.
Chlorophyll is anti-bacterial and can be used inside and outside the body as a healer.
7.
Renowned nutritionist Dr. Bernard Jensen says that it only takes minutes to digest wheatgrass juice and it uses up very little body energy.
8.
Science has proven that chlorophyll arrests growth and development of harmful bacteria.
9.
Chlorophyll (wheatgrass) rebuilds the bloodstream. Studies of various animals have shown chlorophyll to be free of any toxic reaction. The red cell count was returned to normal with four to five days of the administration of chlorophyll, even in those animals that were known to be extremely anemic or low in red cell count.
10.
Farmers in the American midwest who have sterile cows and bulls put them on wheatgrass to restore fertility. (The high magnesium content in chlorophyll builds enzymes that restore the sex hormones.)
11.
Chlorophyll can be extracted from many plants, but wheatgrass is superior because it has been found to have over 100 elements needed by man. If grown in organic soil, it absorbs 92 of the known 102 minerals from the soil.
12.
Wheatgrass has what is called the "grass juice factor," which has been shown to keep herbivorous animals alive indefinitely.
13.
Dr. Ann Wigmore helped people get well from chronic disorders for 30 years using wheatgrass.
14.
Liquid chlorophyll gets into the tissues, refines them, and rebuilds and rejuvenates them.
15.
Wheatgrass juice is a superior detoxification agent compared to carrot juice and other fruits and vegetables. Dr. Earp Thomas, an associate of the late Ann Wigmore, says that 15 pounds of wheatgrass is the equivalent of 350 pounds of carrots, lettuce, celery, and so on.
16.
Liquid chlorophyll washes drug deposits from the body.
17.
Chlorophyll neutralizes toxins in the body.
18.
Chlorophyll helps purify the liver.
19.
Chlorophyll improves blood sugar problems.
20.
Wheatgrass juice cures acne and even removes scars after it has been ingested for seven to eight months. The diet must be improved at the same time.
21.
In the 1940 American Journal of Surgery, Benjamin Cruskin, MD recommended chlorophyll to: clear up foul-smelling odors, neutralize strep infections, heal wounds, hasten skin grafting, cure chronic sinusitis, overcome chronic inner-ear inflammation and infections, reduce varicose veins and heal leg ulcers, eliminate impetigo and other scabby eruptions, heal rectal sores, successfully treat inflammation of the uterine cervix, get rid of parasitic vaginal infections, reduce typhoid fever, and cure advanced pyorrhea in many cases.
22.
Wheatgrass juice acts as a detergent in the body and is used as a body deodorant.
23.
A small amount of wheatgrass juice in the human diet prevents tooth decay.
24.
Wheatgrass juice held in the mouth for 5 minutes will eliminate toothaches and poisons from gums.
25.
Gargle with wheatgrass juice for a sore throat.
26.
For pyorrhea of the mouth, lay pulp of wheatgrass soaked in juice on diseased area in mouth or chew wheatgrass. Spit outthe pulp.
27.
Drink wheatgrass juice for skin problems such as eczema or psoriasis.
28.
Wheatgrass juice keeps the hair from graying.
29.
By taking wheatgrass juice, one may feel a difference in strength, endurance, health, and spirituality and experience a sense of well-being.
30.
Wheatgrass juice improves the digestion.
31.
It is great for blood disorders of all kinds.
32.

It is therefore a tonic which, considering its stimulating properties, cannot be compared with any other. "

Not much to report, well maybe there is..lol I usually work Mondays but had to have June take my hours b/c she needed days off during Holy Week. SO I am "On CALL" chances are slim I will be needed. Just did a 3 mile walk and tone vid. with 5 lb weights and 3 lb ankle things.Just waiting for the Comcast man or woman to come and look at the dvr box thing b/c the bad weather Fri. night made it nuts. Had left over concoction from this weekends Acai' "soup" making for breakfast. Michael consumed only half of the stuff I made him, atleast he ate half of the "good" stuff and a half of a bagel. Last night I had a bad reaction to beans which I never do but I think b/c the beans had a sauce that did it. Was in ab pain like labor. UGh....got over that and fell to sleep early. Lookin forward t othe Hills tonight! LOL I AM! Have to take S to golf at 220 and Ry to Lax 3pm then p/u both then dinner then Confmtn. Pre class. A long day. Lookin forward to an outdoor walk with Jane today after Comcast leaves before the rain hits to go by Soul Bean and get a "shot" lol of wheat grass.
